If you have an AGA, you should still be able to make your Biltong or Jerky. Just follow the steps below:
- Place the meat into the simmering oven (which should heat at around 100ºC).
- Hang a tea towel in between the door of the oven and the oven itself so that it keeps closed but doesn’t shut completely. This will keep the temperature down a bit more and will help any moisture to escape.
- Wait until the biltong is done, but it may take closer to 2 hours as the oven is slightly higher so keep an eye on it.
